New Zealanders may need to hold back until mid-2020 to legally get medical marijuana

Terminally sick and chronic discomfort clients in brand New Zealand will need to wait a lot longer time before they may be able legally get medical cannabis.

In accordance with a document through the Ministry of wellness, medical marijuana may never be lawfully available until at least mid-2020.

The Misuse of Drugs (Medical Cannabis) Amendment Bill

The Misuse of Drugs (Medical Cannabis) Amendment Bill is anticipated to be signed into legislation by March 2019. The bill was introduced in December 2017 by Wellness Minister David Clark underneath the government’s plan that is 100-day.
